How to find us

The event tickets are also valid as tickets for the entire VVS (public transport) area. It is best to plan your journey by public transport.

Travel by car

Since all entry tickets for the World Gymnastics Championships 2019 include free-of-charge public transport in the VVS area (3 hours before competition and until 5am the next morning), we recommend that you leave your car at these Park & Ride parking lots:

Please note:

Due to the Cannstatter Volksfest festival only a small number of parking spaces are available.
Your vehicle needs an Umwelt-Plakette (environmental sticker) for entering Stuttgart city limits. Information on the Stuttgart environmental zone can be found here.


TRAVEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT (VVS)

In the greater Stuttgart area, the World Championships can be conveniently reached with S-Bahn, U-Bahn and buses. Each entry ticket includes free use of VVS transport. Here is an overview of the stops and lines:

S-BAHN:
S1 (STOP NECKARPARK/MERCEDES-BENZ)
S1, S2, S3 (STOP BAHNHOF BAD CANNSTATT)

CITY RAILWAY:
U1, U2 (STOP MERCEDESSTRASSE)
U13 (STOP WILHELMSPLATZ)

BUS:
LINIE 52 (STOP BAD CANNSTATT WILHELMSPLATZ)
LINIE 45, 56 (STOP NECKARPARK/STADION)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Good to know

It is allowed to take bags of about DIN A4 size into the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, however no food or drinks.

Please also leave notebooks, tablets and other technical equipment or bulky items at home.

All entry tickets for the World Championships 2019 include free use of public transport within the VVS area.

The number of available parking spaces is limited due to the Cannstatter Volksfest festival.

Accessibility

Barrier-free access to the Hanns-Martin-Schleyerhalle is via the ramp Mercedesstraße.
