“Set new signs” is the motto of this year’s Gymnastics World Championships. In addition to the fight for world championship titles in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, Stuttgart will be transformed into a gigantic gymnastics landscape from 3 to 13 October. Not only classical gymnastics will be presented, but also all its facets. The somersault, which stands as a symbol for gymnastics, will be interpreted in different ways and made experienceable for everyone. At the breathtaking show “Salto Mondiale” artists from all over the world whirl through the air and professionals of the Parkour and Freerunning scene rock on the Schlossplatz at the City Event. But not only amazement is announced, at the City Event the population can also become active themselves and try themselves out at different stations.
